David Ingram
Head of College
David Ingram is the founding Head of College at Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi.
David graduated from the University of Swansea and went on to complete his MA in the history of childhood. David began his teaching career in Northamptonshire, in the United Kingdom, before moving to Asia in 2000. Prior to joining the Dulwich family, David taught in three of the region’s top schools: The Alice Smith School in Kuala Lumpur, Kellett School in Hong Kong and Tanglin Trust School in Singapore.
David’s mantra as a school leader is “Getting Better Never Stops.” He believes in the value of professional reflection and values teachers who learn and learners who teach. David is a great advocate of sustainability and public speaking and these are important features of College life. David believes in the importance of making a difference and is a member of the British Shanghai Chamber of Commerce CSR Committee and a keen supporter of Save the Rhino. David is the proud father of Jemima and Tabitha and enjoys family bike rides and daddy & daughter cooking sessions.
