Jennifer Bethel
Year 3 Teacher
Jennifer Bethel has ten years of experience as a primary teacher, having taught all classes from Reception to Year 5. After receiving her BA in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Liverpool in the north west of England, she subsequently earned a PGCE with QTS with a specialism in Primary Spanish. Jennifer spent seven years honing and refining her teaching practice in state schools in Liverpool, leading a Year 2 cohort of 72 children.
Before coming to Shanghai, she taught in a British international school in Bangkok, Thailand in the role of Lower Primary Phase Leader.
Outside of school, Jennifer is a keen reader and has a passion for the theatre. She is a musical theatre enthusiast and a member of amateur dramatics groups.
