Dulwich Photo Competition X: Get Your Entries in Now!
The annual Dulwich Photo Competition is back! Now in its 10th year, the Dulwich Photo Competition continues to be one of our favourite Worldwise events, celebrating the talent of our students, parents and staff across the Dulwich College International family of schools. With Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi community members winning many of the past Grand Prizes, we cannot wait to see what wonderful submissions come from our community this year.
In addition to celebrating the talent of our community members, Dulwich Photo Competition X will continue the tradition of supporting the Dulwich Forest project. Working on collaborating with the China Environmental Protection Foundation, we will plant 1 tree for every 10 entries to the competition. The Dulwich Forest project has already planted over 8,100 trees in Hubei province.
Our community forest, located in Yantang Village, Lichuan, Hubei Province, is part of a larger poverty-relief, non-commercial forest planting initiative by the China Environmental Protection Foundation. By planting this forest, we hope to support improvements to the local ecological environment, while also contribute to the local economy by providing new job opportunities. We are delighted to be the first education organisation to be a part of this project.

How to Participate?

The competition is open to all members of the Education in Motion (EiM) and Dulwich College International family of schools, including students, teachers, staff, parents and alumni. Judging will be conducted by a panel of art teachers from across our family of schools, and the top three entries in each category will receive a prize.

This year’s competition entries should be focused on the following four themes:
- Active Animals
- Living Plants
- People and the Environment
- Science in Action

In the 9th Dulwich Photo Competition, Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi student Angel won Grand Prize in the Live Worldwise category with her photo titled ‘Reflection’.
Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi parent, Huichi, won Grand Prize in the Human Connection category with her photo titled ‘耄耋之情’ (Love of the Elderly).
We are proud to announce that Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi student Angel, in Year 5, has won the grand prize in the 9th Dulwich Photo Competition.
In the 8th Dulwich Photo Competition, Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi parent, Andy, won Grand Prize in the Sustainable Solutions category with his photo titled ‘Abandoned Traditions’
As a result of the online voting, the grand prize was awarded to Andy L, a parent from Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi.
