10 May 2025 marked a truly special moment for Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi. Our entire community came together to celebrate Founder’s Day one of the most anticipated events in our school calendar.
The day was a vibrant celebration of diversity, connection, and global spirit, echoing our vision and mission to helping students Live Worldwise.
A Celebration of Diversity and Inclusion
This year’s theme, ‘Around the World’, came to life across the campus. From the moment families arrived, the atmosphere was rich with colour, creativity, and culture. The day began with a lively burst of fireworks and continued with visitors dressed in beautiful international attire - each look a tribute to cultural heritage, curiosity, and celebration.
From Europe to the Americas, Asia to Africa to Oceania, our international food and market stalls reflected the incredible range of cultures represented within our community. The flavours and aromas from around the world filled the air, making the day a true feast for the senses.
A Stage for Culture and Talent
As an international school, our Founder’s Day is not just a celebration, it’s a cultural experience and an expression of everything our global community stands for.
Our campus stages were alive with music, movement, and joy. Students, parents, staff and international performers showcased their talents with international dances, choir performances, live music, and more.
One of the day’s highlights was the student-led fashion show, featuring original designs created in our 3D fashion programme. It was a proud moment for all of us who had the chance to see our student’s creativity and confidence on display.

As always, Founder’s Day was not only about celebration, but purpose. Student-led booths raised funds and awareness for causes that matter. It was inspiring to see how service, sustainability, and compassion were part of the day’s spirit.
