Get Ready for a New Journey: 2025–2026 at Dulwich Puxi

As summer draws to a close, we are delighted to welcome our students and families back to Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi for what promises to be another remarkable year of academic excellence and personal growth. With the start of term just around the corner, here’s a preview of what lies ahead.
Term One: A Warm Welcome and A World of Opportunity
We begin the year as we mean to go on, with a focus on community and belonging. Our annual Welcome Back BBQ and Pool Party will bring together students, parents and staff for an afternoon of fun, food and connection.

Following tradition, new students will be welcomed into their Houses through our House Sorting Ceremony and House Banquet, beginning a journey filled with camaraderie, identity, and friendly competition.

Learning this term will also extend far beyond our classrooms. Highlights include:
- Ignite: Switzerland - Rock Term: a life‑changing 12‑week residential experience for Year 9 students in the Swiss Alps.
- Worldwise Shakespeare Festival in Suzhou: celebrating the 10th anniversary of this unique cultural event.
- Residential Trips and Challenge Week: opportunities for Junior and Senior School students to develop teamwork, resilience and independence.
Our community calendar will be as vibrant as ever, with celebrations for the Mid‑Autumn Festival, the DUCKS Fun Run, the Junior School Spooky Disco, the Remembrance Day Assembly, and our much‑anticipated Winter Concert and Winter Fair.

Term Two: Building Pathways, Developing Leaders
The second term will be rich with international opportunities for students to stretch their thinking and deepen their skills. This is where holistic education and personalised pathways are exemplified.
Highlights include:

Ignite: Switzerland - Snow Term, blending alpine adventure with rigorous academic study

The Student Leadership Conference, hosted this year at Dulwich Puxi, building skills in communication, collaboration and vision

A trip to Seoul for the Worldwise Game Jam, where students will collaborate globally to solve challenges

Maths competitions showcasing academic rigour

The Worldwise Primary Games in Singapore, an opportunity for our younger students to compete and connect internationally
Term Three: A Time for Celebration
The final term is a season of reflection and celebration. We will mark key milestones with final examinations, Graduation for Year 13, and Speech Days recognising student achievements.

At the same time, the pace of enrichment continues with the Royal Shakespeare Company residency, diversity arts series, sports days, Founder’s Day celebrations, Ignite: Switzerland - Water Term, academic extension through further maths competitions, the UCC (University and Careers Counselling) university trip to the United States, etc.

New Wave of Pioneering Educators at Dulwich Puxi
Our teachers are the cornerstone of excellence at Dulwich Puxi. This year, we are thrilled to welcome new educators into our community. They bring with them a wealth of global experience, fresh perspectives, and a shared passion for inspiring students. Last week, we celebrated their arrival with a series of induction events that set the tone for a dynamic and inspiring year ahead.

From joyful community moments to transformative international learning experiences, the 2025–2026 academic year promises a journey of growth, discovery, and achievement for every Dulwich Puxi student.
We look forward to welcoming our students and families on Monday, 18 August 2025!
