Teddy Bear Picnics: Our Special Early Years Community Gatherings

As the saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child. We see our community as a critical partnership between parents, teachers, staff and students; all focused on putting students first and providing a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued and respected.  

Our Early Years Teddy Bear Picnics are a perfect example of how we love to get our community together on campus to generate opportunities to support our students. It was wonderful to see so many parents joining in, sharing a picnic, and visiting various parts of the College with their children. They say "Home is where the heart is", and we hope that through our Teddy Bear Picnics, campus well and truly feels like an extension of our student’s homes.
