Book Week at Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi is a fully immersive week for all students in the college, from Toddlers right through to the Senior School. It is a festive week in the College which celebrates all that books give us; imagination, inspiration, emotion, escape and excitement. Our school mornings during Book Week will start with "Rise and Shine Reading" in the DUCKS restaurant, teachers will read stories aloud whilst students enjoy light breakfast snacks. There will be competitions in the library all week which will require students to read passages from selected books and answer related questions. We have “drop and read” moments planned during the week to ensure that students can enjoy their favourite book at any random moment. There will be classroom make-overs, where students will decorate their classrooms to be scenes from their selected books, and on the last day, all students can dress as one of the characters from their class book for a grand finale celebration in our weekly College assembly. Book Week presents an exciting opportunity for students in all areas of literacy, public speaking and drama.
