SPOTLIGHT ON MATHS – Join this Free Parent Workshop
This term we have had a spotlight on our Maths curriculum in the Primary School, focusing a great deal on our consolidating our approach to mathematical calculations and problem solving. Our students have made terrific progress and we want to ensure that this continues to develop and flourish at home. Our Maths lead in the Primary School, Mrs Sarah Leonard will be running an open workshop for all parents of Primary aged students next Thursday 8 February at 9:30am.
This workshop is designed to support school learning at home and will focus on highly effective maths games to play at home, hands-on learning in the kitchen, and in your garden as well as fun songs you can sing together. Mrs Leonard will also discuss the "non negotiables" for your child’s year group..what your child must know by when.
