Deputy Head of Senior School, History Teacher
Kelly King is a fully qualified and experienced History Teacher with over 17 years of experience in British, specifically London based, schools. She qualified as a History teacher at the prestigious Institute of Education, University College London, later receiving a qualification as a Chartered London Teacher, received only by those who have demonstrated the unique skills, experience and knowledge specific to teaching in London schools. She was then afforded the opportunity of studying for a Master’s degree part-time in Leadership and Innovation in Education at the world’s leading Institute of Education, University of Warwick. Within the first three years of her teaching career, she was granted the status of an Advanced Skills Teacher, which enabled her to work closely with a range of collesgues developing their teaching, whilst also working alongside the Senior Leadership Team. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys doing crosswords and puzzles, but is mostly engaged with her two children and all of the joys that they bring.
