Science Teacher/Year 10 Mentor
Rohan Amin spent five years teaching in London. Despite being a Biology Specialist, and leading on Biology, he has a keen interest for all three disciplines in Science, especially Physics, and runs Science Clubs for a range of students. He studied at the University of Bristol where he specialised in Evolution, and has since completed a Masters from UCL. Rohan's love of learning led him to undertake four months of vulture conservation at Vulpro in South Africa. He was involved in rehabilitating vultures which had often been poisoned or injured as they flew into electricity pylons. Here he realised the biggest impact to be made with respect to conservation was through education and this is one of the main reasons he became a teacher.
