Sending Greetings & Love From Shanghai to Milan

This week our Year 2 students had a very unique experience when Mrs. Walker connected the class with primary students from a school in Milan, Italy. Just like our school, the school in Milan is also closed due to Covid-19, and its students are at home doing online learning. Using our virtual classroom environments and practicing some wonderful letter writing, our students enjoyed their special exchange, asking each other questions about their current Covid-19 situations. It was a wonderful opportunity for our children to get an insight into other childrens’ lives, and help them understand they are not alone with this global crisis! Below are links to their videos and a very special thanks to Mrs Walker for providing the children with such an inspirational opportunity to be global citizens.
