This week, students at Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi had the fantastic opportunity to collaborate with the University of Auckland Dance Group, as part of the Dulwich Diversity programme. Primary and Senior students worked closely with the professional dancers to develop their creative processes. The workshops were energetic and collaborative - our students really enjoyed and benefitted having input from this group of highly talented, young role models.

The visit from the New Zealand dance troupe ended with a superb dance exhibition, which was enjoyed by our students and parents alike.  We certainly had some inspired young dancers, and look forward to welcoming the University of Auckland Dance Group back to College again in the future.

Dance, creative movement and drama are important aspects offered within the Dulwich curriculum and each week many students have the opportunity to experience and practice their performing art as part of our extensive CCA Programme. Furthermore, Dulwich regularly organises professional collaborations in the performing arts because we recognise that these opportunities are an important way of allowing students to explore their interests, and discover their passions.
