John Dixon
Head of Science, Biology and General Science Teacher
John Dixon has over fifteen years of science teaching experience in the UK, Taiwan and Italy. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Manchester, he was awarded the best engineering project across the city's three universities. He has carried his love of science and engineering into his teaching career and has developed Mathematics, Science and Technology curriculum and set up STEAM clubs in his previous international schools. He is passionate about using technology to enhance learning and holds a Masters degree in Learning, Technology and Education. He has played and coached football for most of his life, including organizing summer football camps for children in Taiwan. He enjoys exploring in and around Shanghai and finding out about Chinese culture and cuisine.
