Kevin Chen
Senior School Mandarin Teacher
Kevin Chen graduated from Qingdao University in 2002 where he majored in Chinese language and literature education. After graduating from university, he taught Chinese at a local high school for two years. In 2004, he started teaching Chinese to foreign students, firstly in Qingdao, and then in Korea. In 2008, he joined an international school in Qingdao where he taught Chinese as a first language, Chinese as a second language, Chinese as a foreign language and Chinese culture courses. He has also taught externally-assessed courses such as the IGCSE and AS-Level courses. Kevin has planned various Chinese related events, including Chinese Culture Day, Chinese Culture Week, Book Week, “Experiencing China Trip” program and other events within the school.
