Peter Sinclair
Head of Primary Music
Peter Sinclair is the Head of Primary Music. He has sixteen years of international teaching experience. Peter came to China and settled in Guangdong where he was responsible for developing music education courses at the British School of Guangzhou. Peter studied Music & Music Technology BMus (Hons) at Kingston University, and PGCE at the University of Buckingham.
Throughout his career, Peter has planned numerous events and performance opportunities for students. He was recognised for his positive contribution by winning the outstanding member of staff award. Peter is a firm believer that the joy of music education should be accessible to all children. He is committed to inspiring excellence in the classroom with an approach to learning that is collaborative, engaging and inclusive.
Peter is originally from Pembrokeshire, South Wales. He has performed with many established groups across the UK, including Welsh National Opera. As an active education consultant he regularly supports training workshops and seminars. In his spare time he enjoys reading history, cooking and improving his Chinese. Peter is looking forward to working at Dulwich and supporting future plans for development in the creative arts.
