Celebrating the Mustangs: Sports Award Ceremony 2023
On 30 May, Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi held our Sports Awards Ceremony 2023. This was a brilliant opportunity to look back and celebrate the successes the Mustangs have seen, both on and off the pitch, over the last year. The 2022-2023 academic year has seen its fair share of challenges, yet through it all the students and coaches rose to the occasion with grit, determination, and plenty of resilience.
The Sports Awards focused on the development of our student athletes as people. Our Mustang Spirit of Pride, Passion, Respect and Resilience were recognised across the age groups represented in our CISSA and SISAC teams. We also celebrated the success of our Junior School Mustangs and Swim Squad members, both of which have grown throughout the year and seen many personal bests.

“The Mustang Spirit really encompass everything that we believe in as sports people and in how we grow as members of our community. In sport we have winning and losing, and this plays a part in the development of character, but more importantly we want our young student athletes to see that sport is stepping stone to something bigger and to take that on with good grace and humility”
It was wonderful to have parents, colleagues, students and coaches together to enjoy the very best of what sport brings out in us all.
