Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi Receives WASC Accreditation
It is with immense pride that we announce Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi has received Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation.
Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi completed the rigorous joint Council of International Schools (CIS) and Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) accreditation process and has now officially received confirmation of accreditation from both bodies.
WASC aims to “foster excellence in elementary, secondary, adult and postsecondary institutions, and supplementary education programs. The Commission encourages school improvement through a process of continuing evaluation and recognizes institutions through granting accreditation to the schools that meet an acceptable level of quality in accordance with the established criteria” (acswasc.org).
In confirming our accreditation, WASC Commission Chairperson stated, “The ACS WASC Commissioners have determined Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi (PK-13) meets the ACS WASC criteria for accreditation. This accreditation status is based on all of the information provided by the school, including the school's report, and the satisfactory completion of the accreditation visit”, adding “… The Commission looks forward to Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi's anticipated success and continuing improvement in keeping with ACS WASC's pursuit of excellence…”.
Receiving WASC accreditation indicates that Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi meets an established set of rigorous standards, and has demonstrated our strong commitment to maintaining and improving our world-class holistic education. It is a mark of trust and assurance for our students, parents, and other stakeholders, demonstrating that a Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi education meets the highest standards of excellence.
