Halloween Magic: Make A Difference Together!

The Halloween festivities at Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi last week brought cheers, excitement, and a strong sense of community, while also making a positive impact. From the DUCKS Fun Run to the Junior School Spooky Disco, the day was filled with laughter, creativity, and togetherness.

This year's DUCKS Fun Run created a warm, inclusive atmosphere where children, parents, and staff came together, showcasing the school’s spirit of community. 

Transitioning smoothly from outdoors to indoors, the Fun Run featured a vibrant array of characters—ghosts, witches, stormtroopers, cats—and the return of the much-loved giant inflatable pumpkins. The children’s joy and resilience shone as they jumped, ran, and laughed their way through the obstacle course.

A highlight this year was welcoming students from Maqiao Migrant School to join in the fun, embodying the spirit of togetherness that Dulwich Puxi cherishes.

Junior School Spooky Disco Make a Difference Together

The Junior School Spooky Disco was more than just a celebration—it carried a deeper significance. The theatre, transformed into a spooky wonderland with bubbling cauldrons, dancing skeletons, and glowing jack-o-lanterns, set the perfect scene for students to revel in the joy of dancing and celebrating together.

But beyond the fun, the Spooky Disco had a meaningful mission: raising funds for the Million Tree Project, proving that scaring can indeed be caring. We are pleased to share that our Spooky Disco raised 9000RMB for this important cause.
