Introducing our New Deputy Heads of Primary and Senior School

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of two key roles within the College; Deputy Head of Primary and Deputy Head of Senior School.

As Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi continues to grow, we remain steadfast in our commitment to providing the highest quality education to our students. The appointment of these two senior academic positions reflects our dedication to achieving this goal and to providing exceptional opportunities for our students.

 

Elizabeth Ennis
Deputy Head of Primary, Junior School

Elizabeth Ennis joins us as Deputy Head of Primary, Junior School, bringing over two decades of teaching and leadership experience to the role. After graduating with a Bachelor of Primary Education from the University of Central Queensland in 2000, and teaching for four years in her home town in Australia, she moved to London. There, Elizabeth taught and held a range of senior leadership positions with a focus on achievement across the primary age range. In 2016, she moved on to the United Arab Emirates to take up a deputy headship. Whilst there, Elizabeth undertook and was awarded her National Professional Qualification for Headship. In her most recent role prior to joining Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi, Elizabeth leads PSHE and Pupil Voice, from the Early Years to the 6th Form, at Haileybury Astana in Kazakhstan. Elizabeth is committed to ensuring staff are supported with their development and wellbeing so they are best placed to support students to achieve all that they can.

Elizabeth is a highly experienced educator and leader in the primary education sector and is dedicated to staff wellbeing and professional growth, ensuring that teachers are best placed to support students to achieve their full potential. Results-oriented and driven to help students become the very best versions of themselves, Elizabeth brings to Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi broad experience from across a range of aspects of education, and from around the globe.

 

Jennifer Buster
Deputy Head of Senior School

Jennifer Buster joins Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi as Deputy Head of Senior School after 15 years in leadership roles at high-performing schools in London, followed by a year as an international school improvement consultant in Guangzhou, China. Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, Jennifer spent her formative years in Singapore and had a successful career in business before retraining as a teacher. She earned her PGCE in London, along with a Masters degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Warwick. Jennifer is passionate about creating a culture of continuous improvement in student achievement and learning through a holistic approach. Jennifer is an experienced and adaptable education leader with a focus on nurturing happy and successful students.

Jennifer’s educational philosophy is a perfect match with Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi, with a strong commitment not only to academic attainment and success, but also holistic, well-rounded growth of students, helping them to Live Worldwise. With rich experience living and working in multicultural environments, Jennifer is adept at guiding students to become 21st Century global citizens. She is committed to developing students in a well-rounded way, helping them to become confident, independent and successful individuals.
