Learning2 Conference: Inspiring Educators, Empowering Students
At Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi, we believe that Getting Better Never Stops. Our commitment to academic excellence and the professional growth of our educators ensures that students receive the highest quality education and guidance.
This ethos came to life as we proudly hosted the Learning2 Conference during Term 1 —— a transformative event that brought together international teachers to exchange ideas, explore cutting-edge pedagogies, and redefine the boundaries of teaching.
Join Mrs. Amelia King, the main coordinator of this event, as we look back on the highlights and deeper purpose of the successful Learning2 Conference.
At the end of 2024, Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi had the honour of welcoming international school educators from across the Asia-Pacific region to our campus for the Learning2 Conference. Teachers traveled from as far as Australia as well as from across China to join us for this unique three-day event.
Unlike typical conferences with packed schedules of short workshops, Learning2 takes a different approach. Teachers dove deep into their learning, attending a minimum of two three-hour sessions and two one-hour sessions across the two main conference days, while some kicked off their experience with an intensive four-hour workshop on the pre-conference Thursday. This resulted in a unique hands-on approach with teachers walking away full of actionable ideas to take back to their own classrooms.
One of the main reasons we jumped at the chance to host Learning2 was their commitment to putting Students First – a value that matches our own perfectly.
Our students really stepped up to the challenge, choosing to devote their CCA time this term to prepare keynote talks and develop hands-on workshops for conference delegates.
We are pleased to share below the keynotes from Senior school students Annabelle and Jessie (Year 8) and Lily (Year 13). The visiting teachers were blown away by our students' confidence and capabilities, proving once again what's possible when we Aim High Together.

Throughout the event, our whole campus came alive with learning. It was a fantastic experience that brought out the best in both our students and teachers, and we were proud that DCSPX was at the heart of such an internationally renowned event.
