A Spotlight on the IB Diploma: Famous IB graduates.
The rigour and focus that is well associated with the International Baccalaureate has over the years attracted a very impressive list of powerful people.
The IB programme has a heavy emphasis on internationalism, cooperation, communication and community service, and is a program that allows students to thrive in a positive learning environment. It focuses on community service, communication, and teamwork. These are all attributes that help students to become successful adults.
One very famous IB alumni is the Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau. Trudeau is the epitome of an IB graduate – he is a good communicator, open-minded and able to stay calm in stressful situations. He believes that his IB education has helped him to have the skills he needs to be a good politician.
Another famous IB graduate is Dustin Moskovitz, the co-founder of Facebook. He believes that the IB taught him to work under pressure, which has helped shape him into the successful entrepreneur that he is today.
