Congratulations to all the students who represented our College so brilliantly at the Dulwich Primary Sports Games in Beijing. It was a pleasure celebrating your achievements with our College community this morning in assembly. Your haul of medals and trophies is impressive and we are proud of your success.
More importantly, however, we are proud of the way in which you played. It is clear that each and every member of our squad gave 100% effort throughout the Games and exemplified the qualities that Jonny Wilkinson refers to above.
These are the qualities that will help you be successful in all areas of life. As a small school we are able to give our students a wider range of personal opportunities than they would get elsewhere. We are proud of this track record but we are even more proud of the way in which our students seize these opportunities and succeed. Thank you to Mr Leaver, Coach Ren, Mr Sellers and Mrs Leaver for inspiring our students in Beijing and to all the parents who supported from the sidelines.
