Online Learning: Our View With A Big Thank You!

It’s been a term that no-one predicted.  Little did we know that, after finishing for Chinese New Year, we would not be returning to campus.  We could not have foreseen a situation where families would be pulled together intensely in lock down and quarantine conditions, nor where children would be learning remotely, classmates scattered across the world.

But some things have been completely predictable and consistent.  Our school values – aim high, work hard, be kind and respectful, make a difference, have been the foundation of our online learning programme, where pupils come first.  This is the Dulwich difference – an attitude where-by staff and pupils are determined to thrive, despite challenging conditions.  We believe in excellence in everything we do.  We are reliably grounded by our principles.

We are incredibly proud of our children, and our parents.  To keep our doors open, albeit virtually, and to sustain our community connection, is the work of many.  Your support with our children, your contribution to our programme, and your continued feedback, have helped to keep us all together.  Thank you for every photograph, video and email.  There have been highs and some lows – but we can emphatically say that we are looking forward to term 3 with as much determination as ever.

There is no doubt it will be unpredictable – but we are all ready to tackle it together.
