Speak up and speak out, Dulwich Puxi!

The quality and capability of Dulwich Puxi students’ public speaking skills is strong.

Congratulations to all Senior School students (and our student champions)  who competed at our House Public Speaking contest on Tuesday. Coached and guided by China’s national champion public speaker and Toastmaster, Bobo Lu, the standard of speaking was exceptional. Confident communication is such an important life and leadership skill and Dulwich academic leaders were delighted to see our senior school students making the most of this week's public speaking workshops. Thank you Bobo for your amazing inspiration and coaching!

We are equally proud of all the Junior School students who put themselves forward for the English Speaking Board (ESB) examination. ESB is an internationally recognised public speaking programme that requires students to practice and develop a range of communication skills. The ESB examiner was highly complimentary about the standard of Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi students and commented upon the progress of our EAL candidates. Well done to everyone who accepted this public speaking challenge.

After the holidays, we will continue with Public Speaking opportunities beyond the classroom, including Presentation Skills Club for all Junior School students and weekly college assemblies. Speak up and speak out, Dulwich Puxi!
