The Power of Public Speaking

Addressing a crowd, presenting in class, or even being on stage in front of an audience requires proper preparation. It also requires strategies to build confidence, to help overcome those nervous butterflies that children can face.

Students at Dulwich College Shanghai’s Pudong and Puxi campuses have many opportunities to enhance and refine their public speaking skills within our curriculum. From Mock United Nations to annual Poetry Festivals, from Assembly presentations to lively classroom debates, all Dulwich International students are encouraged to regularly participate in presenting and public speaking because we know that the future will require children to be confident in expressing their views, and very capable in using the power of their words.

This is just one of the ways that we ensure Dulwich students GRADUATE WORLDWISE.
