- Join Us For The Great Dulwich Bake Off
We know how much our Primary and EY students enjoy cooking and many of our students have told us they have really improved during their time at home. Next week we have an exciting week of enrichment activities and cooking challenges for our Primary students to try. And hopefully, mums and dads will get to enjoy some delicious creations specially made by your child. Children feel a wonderful sense of achievement when they are able to prepare, cook, create and serve food that they themselves have had a hand in making. To add a little more flavour to next week’s enrichment activity, we have created a competition. There will be 4 categories for Primary students to creatively experiment with their cooking abilities:
Surprising Sandwiches
make an interesting and inventive sandwich
Creative Cookies
create a delicious and artistic biscuit
Inventive Challenge
use any or all the ingredients in the Kuaidi package to invent something tasty
Show Stopper Cakes
bake and decorate an amazing cake. Use your imagination and make it as colourful as possible.
The winner of each category will receive a cooking-inspired prize, and the winner of the Show Stopper category will also have afternoon tea delivered by…drum roll please…Mr Ingram! You can enter as many categories as you like. This weekend students can start searching ideas and thinking of fabulous things to make or bake in the different categories.
