Year 4 Lead Teacher
Ben is the proud lead teacher for Year 3. Prior to joining Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi, Ben had been working in the education sector in London for almost 8 years with 3 different schools, with experience teaching KS1 and KS2. Ben learnt and developed his teaching skills in an outstanding school for 5 of those years; an experience he credits as inspirational, where her learned how to maintain high levels of teaching performance. Ben’s degree in Childhood and Youth studies has enabled him to recognise the importance of creating a positive environment, which allows children to learn in a fun, safe and challenging manner. Working with children and being involved in their development is something Ben finds very enriching. Ben believes that children should be supported to become independent learners and take ownership of their learning inside and outside the classroom. Ben enjoys working in another culture and country, to continue his journey of self-growth. He is a keen sportsmen who enjoys competing at various different sports.
