Daniel Kopfli
Year 3 Lead Teacher
Daniel Kopfli is the Year 3 lead teacher at Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi. After completing his degree in English Literature he began teaching in primary schools in Seoul, South Korea where he lived and worked for eight years. After this he returned to the UK where he worked in an Ofsted rated Outstanding primary school on the South Coast of England for five years, the last two of which as Assistant Principal. Mr.Kopfli has worked extensively across both Key Stages and is passionate about ensuring all children are engaged with their learning, make excellent levels of progress and leave school prepared in the best way possible for their future lives as well as with plenty of fond memories of their school days. During his times back in the UK he also completed a MA in Education focusing on English as an Additional Language at Southampton University. Away from the classroom Mr.Kopfli is a keen sportsman and enjoys taking part in a range of sports particularly tennis, cycling and long-distance running.
