Elizabeth Ennis
Deputy Head of Primary School
Elizabeth Ennis is the Deputy Head of Primary, Junior School, joining us with over 2 decades of teaching and leadership experience. After graduating with a Bachelor of Primary Education from the University of Central Queensland in 2000, and teaching for 4 years in her home town in Australia, she moved to London. Here, Elizabeth taught and held a range of senior leadership positions with a focus on achievement across the primary age range. In 2016, she moved on to the United Arab Emirates to take up a deputy headship. Whilst there, Elizabeth undertook and was awarded her National Professional Qualification for Headship. Her last position, prior to joining Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi, was leading PSHE and Pupil Voice, from the Early Years to the 6th Form, at Haileybury Astana in Kazakhstan. Elizabeth is committed to ensuring staff are supported with their development and wellbeing so they are best placed to support students to achieve all that they can.
When not at school, Elizabeth spends her time trying to improve her baking skills. She loves travelling with her family and is excited to see all of the sights of China she did not see when last visiting in 2006.
