Ellah Asplet
Global Citizenship Champion, Year 1 Teacher
Ellah Pabito is a Primary School teacher with 6 years of experience teaching in London, Belfast and has recently been teaching online in Dulwich College Yangon. With a first-class honours degree in Psychology from the University of Ulster, Ellah subsequently completed her PGCE teacher training qualification at the Institute of Education (IOE), University College London (UCL). She taught at several primary schools in London, teaching a range of ages as well as working as a learning support teacher. Ellah also completed her Masters degree in Education Planning, Economics and International development and she worked as a Research Volunteer on a teacher training programme in Sri Lanka for several months. Ellah sees great value in volunteer work and she has volunteered in many non-profit organisation in Greece and the Philippines. Ellah describes her passion for education as 'going beyond the classroom walls'. Her goal as a teacher is to fuel her students’ love for learning and to encourage them to be independent, inquisitive and reflective learners.
Outside of school, Ellah enjoys socialising and exploring the outdoors through, hiking, running and trying out different cuisines.
