Niall Walker
Year 3 Teacher & Primary Library Team Leader
Niall is Lead Librarian at Dulwich College Shanghai Puxi. Niall supports the learning of students throughout the college by managing and refining the library physical and digital resources, including a range of specially selected catalogues of fiction and non-fiction books for all ages of our College students from Toddlers to Year 13. He plans and leads weekly lessons for all Primary School students to support their growth and enthusiasm as independent researchers who can ably and confidently find reliable answers that embolden their curiousities, as well as developing their love of reading and imagination. Niall is an experienced school librarian who has led library teams in two secondary schools in the UK, as well as creating and leading national and regional innovative reading programmes in schools and libraries across Scotland. Niall has a Master of Arts degree in Politics with Honours from the University of Dundee and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education with the University of Sunderland.
