Highlights: Dulwich Puxi's Year 2 College Sleep Over.

“Life is an adventure that is best lived boldly.”   - Bear Grylls

Dulwich College Puxi Year 2 students had the enthralling opportunity to camp out at school overnight last Friday as a part of our annual Residential programme. Dulwich Puxi values the importance of providing a range of opportunities beyond the classroom that develop independence and a sense of adventure. From packing their suitcases, to bringing toothbrushes and teddy bears, we want all of our students to develop a sense of responsibility from an early age. Leaving parents at home, and being with their friends plays an important role in developing their social and emotional wellbeing.

During the day, there was a great sense of excitement and anticipation building and the children couldn’t wait to spend the night with their friends and teachers at the Year 2 camp.

Our fantastic activities included:

  • Baking cookies
  • Taekwondo class with Master Chang
  • Tent building
  • Movie night in the theatre
  • Treasure hunt

Keeping the students fuelled and energised with a mouth-watering BBQ and toasted marshmallows was a top highlight for everyone.

Parents were able to share live feeds and keep up-to-date with magical moments via our Seesaw platform.

It was a great success and LOTS of fun!
